Hotel Newstar

It’s a basic stay hotel, not the Hilton, so don’t expect that for the price. If all you want is to sleep and go then it is ok. They have a restaurant and bar if you want breakfast before you head out.

Everything was great. Nice and clean rooms good facilities and comfortable to live .. just kitchen stuff needs to be added as utensils.

Great experience! We stayed for 2 nights in a King Bed suite and enjoyed our stay. Despite being on the first floor, the property was quiet at night and a few loud early riser did not ruin our sleep. The bed, pillows, and towels were comfy and good quality. We missed having a microwave, but not a deal-breaker. The staff was incredibly welcoming and polite, despite my lack of proficiency in French. We were happy with the cost-benefit and location was great, with easy access to all locations we planned on visiting. The only issue was the smoke smell in the hallway - despite being a non-smoking property, guests often smoke just outside the doors and walk-in, carrying the smell to the hallways. Not a big deal, but it would add value to have a designated smoking area a bit further away from the main doors. Overall, great experience and would return.

The price was very cheap for 2 rooms. It's a rare find. Big factor might be the location. I googled it and it's in between bad neighbourhoods hence why the area looks sketchy. Nothing bad happened while were there so I guess we were lucky. The rooms were great. Clean and spacious. Aside from the washroom door barely hanging on, everything else was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's beside the highway and near the Botanical Gardens so it's a good location. Would book here again for the price.

The rooms we booked were supposed to be queen size both rooms beds were double also we didn’t get new towels or room service for 5 days. Overall the place is not bad lots of parking.

No enough towels and handwash towel. No room service for changing the garbage can or doing the bed during the day. No "do not disturb" door provided. The fan was starting during the night. Not enough blanket. Otherwise the restaurant was good and we ate breakfeast. Really good pancakes.

If you just want to stay for a night without much facilities and service then go for it. AC and Heater available. Nothing is free even coffee and water bottle. It's like a motel in a name of hotel but rooms are not bad.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception was pleasant, and we were given our rooms right away, even before the check-in time. We were pleasantly surprised to fun the room quite spacious, with everything clean, and organized. The coffee machine, and the coffee pods, were an added perk. My husband requested 3 more pillows and was given 4. We ordered food delivery, and it came right to our room. The washroom is a little date, and the hotel is located in an odd place, but otherwise a great experience.
